Because Doctors without Borders refuses to accept NDs (even though they always need more doctors), a number of years ago a few NDs started NDI, Natural Doctors International. They do not have anywhere near the resources that Doctors without Borders or many other groups have, but they still have made a great difference in the lives of many people. In Dec, the National University of Health Sciences (NUHS), http://www.nuhs.edu/ has graduated its 1st ND class since the 50's! They were able to re-start their ND program back in 2006. This was a big achievement for them, especially because they are in one of the unlicensed states.
